The Allen-Bradley 2098-DSD-HV100X is an Ultra 3000 drive. This drive is part of the 2098 Digital Servo Drives that supports simple and standalone indexing and multi-axis integrated motion. This drive module is a 400V class drive that is powered by an external supply voltage range of 230-480VAC, 3-Phase. This Ultra 3000 drive is designed to deliver continuous output power of 10 kW and continuous output current of 23.0 A (rms).
This Ultra 3000 drive is installed with a solid-state motor overload protection that complies with UL 508C directive. Specifically, the motor protection trips eventually at 100% overload; Within Eight (8) minutes at 200% overload and within 20 seconds at 600% overload. For additional external protection, recommended Allen-Bradley manufactured fuse are KTK-R-20 Class CC fuse and LPJ-17-1/2SP Class J fuse. Alternatively, circuit breakers may be used however, appropriate circuit breaker must have Fully Rated Short Circuit Interrupt Capability. Specifically, recommended Allen-Bradley Circuit Breaker has catalog number of 140M-F8E-C32. Bullettin 140M circuit breakers are not recommended for use on the AC drive output, acting as an isolating device or disconnect switch.
Incoming power connections to the terminal is through terminals L3, L2, L1, L1 AUX, and L2/N AUX terminals. Recommended wire size is 4 mm. sq. or 12 American Wire Gauge (AWG). Appropriate tightening force to each of the terminal is 1.25 N-m or 11 lb.-in.
